Slipping Away did not chart, and Kleptomania charted at number 135. Paul Draper gave a few promotional interviews, but generally it was very low-key.In one interview (here), Paul confirmed that Stove was sacked, before the final split.

Slipping Away got its first radio play by Steve Lamacq on Radio 1 last night - read my review and lyrics. Paul Draper will be a guest on his 6Music show in September to promote Kleptomania.Paul has spoke for the first time about the split, and revealed that him and Chad have been writing together again. The tracklisting and cover-art for Kleptomania have been confirmed. You can pre-order a copy at HMV.co.uk. Mansun are to release Slipping Away from CD1 as a limited edition 7" vinyl single on September 20th.9 July 2004
Kleptomania is to have the contents of its second cd decided by fans in an online poll. You can vote for your favourite b-sides on the official site until July 14th. 'Kleptomania' will be released in the UK on September 27th.20 May 2004

I contacted the band, and got the following response: "Andie has a lot of fond memories of Mansun and of course the fans who supported them all the way. He is looking forward to seeing you at his gigs and he hopes you all understand that he is having fun playing the drums. This is also a time for him to spend time with his family as well as keeping his hand in with playing. All in all he says thanks and see you soon."

In the first statement on the official site since the band split one year ago, Paul Draper has announced there will be a Mansun release this autumn. The 3-CD package, titled "Kleptomania", will include fourth album material, plus old EP-only tracks and rarities. He also says he is working on a solo record, and further information will follow shortly.19 April 2004
Petition success! On March 2nd, an EMI contact said there will be a CD and DVD release this year. Quizzed yesterday, he said an official announcement from the band is near. The petition gathered 3000 signatures.16 February 2004
